PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode group for a power storage device and a power storage device that restrain formation of a part not functioning as an electrode and prevents reduction in energy density.SOLUTION: A band-shaped positive electrode plate 11a in which a positive electrode active material layer is formed on a positive electrode collector 13a and a band-shaped negative electrode plate 11c in which a negative electrode active material layer is formed on a negative electrode collector 13c are wound around, and the positive electrode plate 11a and the negative electrode plate 11c are overlapped and wound around in a state in which positions of end of the most inner periphery are aligned. The positive electrode plate 11a and the negative electrode plate 11c comprise a positive electrode active material formation part 14a where a positive electrode active material layer is arranged and a negative electrode active material formation part 14c where a negative electrode active material layer is arranged. The positive electrode active material formation part 14a and the negative electrode active material formation part 14c are arranged with separation from each other in the longitudinal direction of the positive electrode plate 11a and the negative electrode plate 11c and is characterized in that |the total number of positive electrode active material formation parts 14a-the total number of negative electrode active material formation parts 14c|≤2.
