PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, by targeting the field of valuable printed matters in the form of security printed matters requiring anticounterfeit effects such as bank notes, passports, stocks and bonds, identification certificates, cards, public transportation passes, etc., a latent image printed matter in which an image observable under diffused reflection beams is replaced by an utterly different image when observed under regular reflection beams.SOLUTION: The provided latent image printed matter is constituted by laminating, atop a latent image formed by a material having a high glossiness and bearing second meaningful information either transparent or of a color equivalent to that of a substrate, a visible image formed by a material including an effulgent material and bearing first meaningful information of a color different from that of the substrate; the provided latent image printed matter endowed with excellent so-called "image changing effects" of one image being replaced by another, i.e., unrelated image under diffused reflection beams and regular reflection beams exhibits no attenuations of such changing effects even if substrates of all conceivable materials, including general high-grade papers, are formed underneath; moreover, no high print superimposition precision is required, and simple and inexpensive color design and production procedures suffice. |
