PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a bone prosthesis of a sintered body which is easily collapsed with pressing force regardless of the size or shape of the bone prosthesis to be formed, having bond strength enough to maintain own shape of granules when collapsed.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a bone prosthesis of a sintered body including ceramic porous granules bonded with ceramic porous grains having a particle diameter smaller than that of the ceramic porous granules includes the steps of: mixing a slurry which contains the ceramic porous grains and a water-soluble polymer compound with the ceramic porous granules so as to obtain a mixed slurry; and sintering the mixed slurry so as to obtain the bone prosthesis. Prior to obtain the mixed slurry in the mixing step, the ceramic porous granules are preliminarily calcined at a temperature of 200°C or higher and lower than 800°C. |
