PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving riding comfort and durability while maintaining an original protection function of a rim protect bar.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises a rim protect bar 11 projecting from a sidewall section 2 toward the tire width direction outside and annularly extending along a tire peripheral direction. The rim protect bar 11 comprises an opening groove 12 extending along the tire peripheral direction while opening to the tire width direction outside. Each of a pair of wall sections 12a and 12b facing each other in the opening groove 12 includes a plurality of protrusions 13a and 13b extending in the tire peripheral direction. A bottom 12c located at the tire width direction inside in the opening groove 12 is formed into a curved surface having a curvature in a tire meridian cross section. |
