<p>The invention relates to oil and gas extraction equipment, and more particularly to expandable downhole filters. The technical result is that of simplifying the filter structure, preventing formation damage and enhancing the rock retention capacity of a formation as well as increasing the life of submersible pumping equipment. The expandable filter comprises a support pipe (1) with perforations (2) and, disposed thereon, a filter jacket (3) made from coiled wire (4) which is compacted to form thick-walled cylinders.</p> |
