<p>Disclosed is a picture frame data reduction method. In the method, a target pixel and surrounding pixels are used to distinguish picture frame data, and a data combination is selected from multiple data combinations provided by the surrounding pixels as an encoded target pixel; the data combination is compressed and then restored to a decoded target pixel of a current picture frame, which is compared with a decoded target pixel of a previous picture frame; data of the surrounding pixels is further compressed and saved in a memory together with selection information of the target pixels. The required memory space is reduced, which effectively saves the driver chip cost.</p> |
