摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which enables a width dimension measured in a horizontal direction of an imaging device and a thickness dimension measured in an optical axis direction to be shortened and captures a wider variety of images without being subject to limitations on the imaging position and the composition.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging part 306; a forced air cooling fan 307 having an intake port and an exhaust port; a heat sink serving as a duct 308 in which an opening corresponding to the intake port of the fan 307 is formed and is disposed at the rear surface side of the fan and having multiple fins extending in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis, the heat sink serving as the duct 308 where ventilation flues for guiding air sucked from the exterior to the intake port of the fan through the opening are formed between the multiple fins; a substrate 309 which is disposed at the rear surface side of the heat sink serving as the duct; and a heat radiation plate 310 which is disposed at the rear surface side of the substrate and transfers heat generated at the substrate to a rear surface cover of a device body. The fan, the heat sink serving as the duct, the substrate, and the heat radiation plate are formed into flat shapes, in which a dimension measured in an optical axis direction is short, and are disposed so that surfaces facing the optical axis direction are arranged in parallel with each other.
