PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high accuracy current command value follow-up control with a relatively long control period, by using a general purpose inverter.SOLUTION: A controller of a switched reluctance motor includes position/rotational speed detection means 201, current detection means 202, command value operation means 203 for calculating a current command value, a current command value hitting angle, and a reverse voltage application start angle, from a torque command value and a rotational speed, voltage control means 204 for estimating a voltage command value during control period of equal interval, based on a rotor position and a rotational speed, a current detection value, a current command value, a current command value hitting angle, and a reverse voltage application start angle, and switch control means 206 performing PWM control so that the output voltage from the power converter matches a voltage command value estimated, by comparing the voltage command value with a triangular wave carrier. The voltage control means 204 manages the control period in synchronism with the carrier, and estimates the voltage command value of each control period for the motor current rising section, the constant current section, and the current falling section depending on the rotor position, for each phase of the motor. |
