PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar antenna capable of achieving a higher gain and lower vertical sidelobe level.SOLUTION: In the radar antenna, a radiant waveguide 3 is provided on a base of a flare 2, and a metal plate 4 with a predetermined length is provided in an electromagnetic wave radiation direction at a vertical middle position of the flare 2. In addition, an electric wave forming section 51 with a length in the vertical direction and a length in the cross direction set to predetermined lengths is provided in the center ahead of the flare 2 and the flare 2 and the electric wave forming section 51 are covered with a dielectric radome 6. The electric wave forming section 51 and the radome 6 are disposed ahead of the flare 2 by an amount corresponding to an obtained high gain. Metal foil tape 7 for blocking electromagnetic waves is provided in the vicinity of a connection area between the electric wave forming section 51 and the flare 2. |
