PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a portable terminal of a specified person for performing protection of a fact that an abnormality occurred with a resident together with key information for unlocking an entrance door.SOLUTION: An intercom system includes: a monitoring device 5 for outputting an unlocking permission signal to unlock an electric lock. The monitoring device 5 includes: an image generation unit 51 for receiving a detecting action of an abnormality detection sensor 7 and generating key image data to unlock an electric lock 4; a timer 52 for managing the expiration date of generated key image data; a monitoring device CPU 56 for comparing an image captured by an entrance camera 12 with a generated image; and a communication IF 55 for transmitting generated key image data to a portable terminal 6 via a public communication network N. When the picture of the portable telephone 6 where key image data transmitted from the monitoring device 5 is displayed is captured by the entrance camera 12, the monitoring device CPU 56 compares an image captured by the entrance camera with generated key image data. When coincidence is obtained, an unlocking permission signal is transmitted to a room master unit 2 so as to unlock the electric lock 4. |
