PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure necessary and sufficient connection strength at a low cost in a connection section of an input piston and an input rod in a master cylinder.SOLUTION: In a connection section of an input piston 12 and an input rod 13 in a master cylinder, a spherical tip 13a of the input rod 13 is connected to be integral in an axial direction and tiltable in a radial direction to a recess 12c provided at the bottom of a piston inner hole 12b. A spherical diameter of the spherical tip 13a in the input rod 13 is set to be larger than each of maximum diameters of shaft sections (13c, 13d) in the input rod 13 by prescribed quantity. The recess 12c of the input piston 12 comprises: a conical bottom section 12c1 receiving the spherical tip 13a; and a cylindrical hole section 12c2 capable of storing the spherical tip 13a with the same diameter. The recess 12 is formed in the input piston 12 itself. An opening side end A of the cylindrical hole section 12c2 can be pressurized and molded axially and radially inward by a fixture (20), and the spherical tip 13a is configured to be prevented from coming off. |
