PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device capable of stabilizing a backlight temperature during a period from the transition to a display screen of a screen saver image to the restoration to an original display screen, in the display control device including a backlight.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: display means for displaying an image, on the basis of an image signal; light emission means capable of controlling light emission luminance; and control means for controlling light emission of the light emission means, on the basis of the image signal. When the display device makes a transition to a mode of displaying a predetermined image, the control means controls the light emission luminance of the light emission means, regardless of a predetermined image signal for displaying the predetermined image. |
