PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and reduce weight of a radiation generator 500 that comprises: a radiation generating unit 101 which discharges a radiation emitted from a target 115 forming a transmission window of a radiation generating tube 102 provided in a housing container 120 via a discharge window 121 provided on the housing container 120; a movable diaphragm unit 200 comprising a radiation limiting blade 122 which can adjust the size of a radiation irradiation field; and a light projection sight mechanism for performing simulative display as a visible light irradiation field by visible light from a light source 125 reflected by a reflection mirror 119.SOLUTION: A reflection mirror 119 is provided between a target 115 which is a transmission window and a discharge window 121, and a light source 125 is provided inside of a housing container 120 and at a position where visible light can be directly projected to the reflection mirror 119, which allows a movable diaphragm unit 200 to be miniaturized.
