FULL-TEXT SEARCH SYSTEM USING NON-VOLATILE CONTENT ADDRESSABLE MEMORY, AND TEXT STRING COMPARISON METHOD EMPLOYING SAME

A full-text search system comprises a text string search unit including a non-volatile content addressable memory and an index storage unit. With respect to an inverted index, a text string code of an index word is stored in the non-volatile content addressable memory. When an index code is found in the non-volatile content addressable memory which matches a search word which is inputted via an input unit, the text string search unit, on the basis of this number, queries the index storage unit and extracts linked information such as a document ID.
