In an embodiment of the present invention, provided is an advertisement providing method which provides an advertisement by an advertisement providing server, comprising the following steps: receiving a search keyword inputted by a user from a user terminal; obtaining a cookie containing information on a past keyword search history of the user; ranking each of the keywords which have been inputted by the user up to now based on a keyword input pattern identified by considering all the past keyword search history of the user and the inputted keyword; and providing a keyword matched advertisement for the user terminal according to the rankings.
