An aqueous dispersion according to the present invention is produced by dispersing a fine solid biodegradable resin composition (C) in an aqueous medium, wherein the biodegradable resin composition (C) comprises a copolymer (A) composed of a constituent unit (a-1) derived from a polycarboxylic acid and a constituent unit (a-2) derived from a hydroxycarboxylic acid and a biodegradable resin (B), and wherein the compositional ratio of the copolymer (A) to the biodegradable resin (B) [(A)/(B)] is 1/99 to 100/0 by mass in which the total amount of the copolymer (A) and the biodegradable resin (B) is 100.
