PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: when a PFA is applied with a method of heating a fluorine resin close to the melting point in the absence of oxygen and irradiating the fluorine resin with ionizing radiation to improve abrasion resistance, abrasion resistance of the PFA is improved but releasability is decreased, and therefore, the PFA cannot be used as a fixing member.SOLUTION: A tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer (PFA) included in a surface layer is heated to the glass transition point or more and the melting point+30°C or less in the absence of oxygen, and is irradiated with ionizing radiation to be crosslinked. The crosslinked PFA is then heated again to the melting point of the PFA or more to be melted again, so as to recover decreased releasability of the PFA. |
