PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, a display method and a program which are easy to see and a mounting type.SOLUTION: The display device includes an imaging section, an information acquisition section, a display section, and a transmittance control section. The imaging section generates an imaging data of an image which can be watched by a watcher. The information acquisition section acquires information on a second image which the watcher is presumed to watch. The display section includes an image light generation part and a transflective reflection plate. The image light generation part emits an image light containing a display object based on the information. The transflective reflection plate reflects the image light to be incident on one eye of the watcher and permeates a background light to be incident on the other eye of the watcher. The transflective reflection plate is arranged between the transmittance control section and one eye. The transmittance control section includes a first region overlapping with the second image and a second region which does not overlap with the second image. The transmittance control section makes the background light pass through the second region and reduced transmittance of the first region so as to be lower than that of the second region. |
