PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a base plate and an open lever to be made common in a manual release type latch device and an electric release type latch device, and to downsizing the device.SOLUTION: An actuator 7 to be mounted on an electric release type latch device in which an open lever 6 is operated by power and a case 8 to be mounted on a manual release type latch device in which the open lever 6 is manually operated are capable of being selectively mounted on a base plate 3. The case 8 to be mounted on a manual release type latch device is provided with a stopper part 81 which abuts on a follower 6a2 provided on the open lever 6 when it is mounted on the base plate 3 and stops the open lever 6 at a standby position. Therefore, it is not necessary to cut, raise and provide a stopper for stopping the open lever 6 at the standby position from the base plate 3, the base plate 3 and the open lever 6 can be made common in the manual release type latch device and the electric release type latch device, and the device can be downsized. |
