PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a winter tire capable of improving on-snow performance, wet grip performance and wear resistance in a well balance, and a winter tire produced by using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a rubber composition for a winter tire comprising: a rubber component; silica (1) having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 130 mor less; silica (2) having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 150 m/g or more; and a silane coupling agent, and in which, among the rubber component 100 mass%, the content of a conjugated diene-based polymer having a constitutional unit based on conjugated diene and a constitutional unit expressed by the following formula (1), and in which at least one end of the polymer is modified by a specified compound is 5 mass% or more, the total content of the silica (1) and (2) is 10 to 100 pts.mass, and the content of the silane coupling agent to 100 mass pts. of the total content of the silica (1) and (2) is 2 to 15 pts.mass. |
