A first transducer section of an ultrasonic wave transmission unit comprises a proximal relay section that is provided on a first transducer body and that is located at a relay ventral position constituting one first ventral position. A second transducer section comprises: a distal relay section that is linked with the proximal relay section of the first transducer section, or is provided on the second transducer body in a condition contacting the proximal relay section of the first transducer section and is located at an intermediate position different from the second ventral position and second node position; and a non-contact transducer section where the proximal end of the second transducer section is positioned, extending in the proximal direction from the distal relay section in a state of non-contact with the first transducer section. |
