<p>The present invention addresses the problem of providing a highly sensitive method for quantifying a protein using a liquid chromatograph-tandem mass spectrometer (LC/MS/MS), said method enabling simultaneous quantification of proteins which serve as indices for the diagnosis or treatment of diseases. The method comprises a step for preparing peptide fragments of proteins to be quantified, wherein the proteins to be quantified in a sample are fragmented using lysyl endopeptidase and then further fragmented using trypsin. Next, peptides that are eluted in a liquid chromatograph part of the liquid chromatograph-tandem mass spectrometer (LC/MS/MS) within 30-70 min are identified. Then, these peptides are used as the objective peptides for the quantification.</p> |
