According to an embodiment of the present invention, a liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate; a first electrode and a second electrode which are located on the first substrate; a first alignment film arranged on the first electrode and the second electrode; a polymer network arranged on the first alignment film; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a second alignment film arranged on the second substrate; a second polymer network arranged on the second alignment film; and a liquid crystal layer which is located between the first substrate and the second substrate and includes ferroelectric liquid crystal molecules.
