A floor waste (10) for mounting on a drain opening in a floor member having a top surface and a bottom surface, including: a top floor mounting member (12) defining a 5 flow passage for mounting on the top surface of the floor member; a bottom floor mounting member for mounting on the bottom surface of the floor member and for being engaged with the top floor mounting member with the floor sandwiched between them; and a grate (16) mounted on the top floor mounting member (12) for extending across the flow passage while permitting water to pass through the grate 10 and into the flow passage, wherein the grate (16) and the top floor mounting member (14) are configured to receive an edge region of a sheet material forming a floor covering, between the grate member and top floor mounting member, for attaching the floor covering to the floor waste. 15 FIGURE 1 C p en �h |
