PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily confirm whether to use an external storage during reproducing content in a content reproduction device.SOLUTION: A BD player is provided with an optical disk drive having a disk detection part. When the disk detection part detects that a BD disk is loaded (S1), an optical disk drive is driven to read "index.bdmv" data from the BD disk (S2). Whether to use an external storage during reproducing content is determined with reference to a table in which information about the BD disk in the "index.bdmv" data is recorded (S3). |
