A station building power supply device according to the present invention comprises: a station building power supply generation unit (10) including an inverter main circuit and an inverter control circuit for controlling the inverter main circuit, said inverter main circuit converting the voltage supplied from an overhead line into the voltage required by a load in a station building; a control circuit power supply generation unit (20) for converting the voltage supplied to the load in the station building to generate a voltage input to the inverter control circuit; and a startup power supply generation unit (30) for, while the inverter main circuit stops operating and while the control circuit power supply generation unit (20) stops the operation of generating the voltage input to the inverter control circuit, converting the voltage supplied from the overhead line to generate the voltage input to the inverter control circuit.
