The arrangement has a valve body (70) operated in pressure opening direction of a metering orifice (30). A selector valve arrangement (56) i.e. inverse shuttle valve, is assigned with two inputs (60, 62) and an output (58). One of the inputs with an inlet (28) in front of the metering orifice is in fluid communication with the other input at a back of a pressure chamber (68). The output is connected to load signaling lines (18, 24). A valve seat is formed at the latter input of the selector valve arrangement. An independent claim is also included for a hydraulic drive.
