PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor light-emitting element in a light-emitting element using fluorescent emission and phosphorescent emission, which has comparatively less number of deposition layers thereby to achieve less number of manufacturing processes and which is advantageous to practical use; and provide a multicolor light-emitting element in a light-emitting element using fluorescent emission and phosphorescent emission, which exhibits good luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element includes a luminescent layer having a lamination structure of a first luminescent layer which produces emission from a first excited complex and a second luminescent layer which produces phosphorescent emission.
