PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform job processing without reducing performance of the job processing even when a memory for storing management information associated with the job processing is replaced with a non-volatile memory.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus schedules and performs processes associated with a request of job processing, and detects a process of requesting back-up of management information to be managed in the job processing. The image processing apparatus then schedules to perform a process of writing the management information requested to be backed-up as data more preferentially than other processes, and caches the management information in a non-volatile memory according to the schedule.
