PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device 10 and a printing method for printing beautifully by reducing the jam of a printed member in the device.SOLUTION: A printing device 10 comprises: a conveyance roller for conveying a long printed member having an adhesive on the rear face of a printed surface; a print head 31 for printing the printed surface of the printed member to be conveyed; a separation plate 52 arranged so as to contact with the conveyance roller; and a control unit for rotating the conveyance roller so that the printed member may be printed by the print head 31. The separation plate 52 is arranged behind the conveyance roller and the control unit rotates the conveyance roller reversely at a long standstill time. |
