PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone terminal and a method for operating the portable telephone terminal, capable of automatically changing service setting contents for correspondence if there is a call.SOLUTION: A portable telephone terminal comprises: a radio section for performing communications with an opposite party device by being connected so as to be able to perform radio communication to any one of a plurality of base stations; a connection destination identifying section for identifying which base station is connected to the radio section and generating identification information indicating the base station of a connection destination; a determining section for determining whether the base station of the connection destination is changed on the basis of the identification information; and a setting changing section for changing setting service contents indicating how to correspond to a call made from the opposite party device into the contents corresponding to the base station of a changed connection destination when the base station of the connection destination is changed. |
