PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balustrade device of a passenger conveyor in which a mobile handrail can be easily removed.SOLUTION: A balustrade device of an escalator relating to this invention includes a balustrade panel 5 holding a mobile handrail 1 formed endlessly to move, a step S provided endlessly to move, a skirt guard 3 arranged between the balustrade panel 5 and the step S, a case 10A arranged along a longitudinal direction of the skirt guard 3 to form an outer shell, and an illuminating device 10 having a light emitting body 10B housed in the case 10A to illuminate the step S. A spacing H between a bottom of the case 10A of the illuminating device 10 and an upper surface part of the step S is set larger than a thickness dimension h of the mobile handrail 1. In addition, the skirt guard 3 and the case 10A of the illuminating device 10 are formed apart from each other, and a first screw 8 for fastening the skirt guard 3 to a deck base 7 and a second screw 13 for fastening the case 10A of the illuminating device 10 to the deck base 7 are provided. |
