PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct skew at relatively low cost without preventing conveyance.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus that draws, from a roll body around which a recording medium is wound, the recording medium, and records an image on the recording medium includes recording means for recording the image on the recording medium, a conveyance roller for conveying the recording medium, first driving means for rotating the conveyance roller, second driving means for generating a braking force for the roll body, and control means for controlling the second driving means. The control means controls the second driving means so that tension and relaxation alternately occur in the recording medium between the conveyance roller and the roll body while the conveyance roller is conveying the recording medium. |
