The present invention pertains to an information processing device, an information processing method, a program, and a content sharing system that are configured so as to be capable of efficiently utilizing an ACR service when sharing content. This information processing device comprises: an identification request unit that extracts a first signature data from obtained content, sends a query including the first signature data to a content identification server, and obtains a response including identification results for the content, sent from the content identification server in accordance with the query; a signature data insertion unit that converts the response to response conversion data, generates a second signature data capable of being extracted by another information processing device in a form containing the response conversion data, and inserts the second signature data into the obtained content; and a supply unit that supplies the content having the second signature data inserted therein to the other information processing device. |
