The present invention relates to an UV-rays (ultraviolet rays) processing apparatus for processing ballast water of a ship. In more detail, the apparatus having a watertight structure between a driving shaft and a body of a washing part includes a rotor rotated together a driving shaft in the driving shaft and a gas tight member in a second groove. The driving shaft for moving the washing part is inserted in a driving shaft inserting hole of a partition wall to be coupled and supported. The partition wall forms a space through which ballast water flows.The gas tight member is tightly closed to a contact surface between stators coupled to a cover frame fixed to the partition wall at the circumstances of the driving shaft inserting hole, so that the ballast water is prevented from flowing into a room. A first member, which is coupled to one side of a first groove formed on an outer circumference of a ring-shaped casing in which the rotor is installed, is coupled to a second member coupled to an opposite side of the first groove while an elastic spring is interposed between the first and second members. An upper end of the elastic spring, a low end of which is supported by the first member, allows the rotor to adhere closely to the stator by force pressing the second member, so that the ballast water is prevented from flowing into the room. The second groove is formed in a portion at which the cover frame makes contact with the inner periphery surface of the driving shaft inserting hole. A third groove is formed in a portion at which the cover frame makes contact with the driving shaft and a sealing member is included in the third groove so that the ballast water is doubly prevented from flowing into the room. |
