<p>This ion generating element (100) is provided with: a plurality of components provided to a high-voltage-side circuit board (130); a casing (101) that houses the high-voltage-side circuit board (130); and a resin sealing section (170) that insulatingly seals the plurality of components and the high-voltage-side circuit board (130) at a portion positioned inside the casing (101). The plurality of components include a first diode (151a) and second diode (151b) as peripheral components other than a first discharge electrode (152a), a second discharge electrode (152b), and a step-up transformer. The casing (101) has diode housing hole sections (122a, 122b) at positions corresponding to the first diode (151a) and the second diode (151b) and that house the ends thereof. The ends of the first diode (151a) and the second diode (151b) are covered by the resin sealing section (170) inside the diode housing hole sections (122a, 122b).</p> |
