The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for transmitting simplified motion information from which a background image is excluded and displaying the information using an avatar which reduces the amount of transferred data and enhance a satisfaction rate for image quality by selectively transmitting at least one among a partial image centered on an object, an entire image or multiple pieces of frame information on the object according to predetermined situations, reduce the amount of transferred data by selectively transmitting divided screens on which motion exists after dividing one image into at least two screens, reduce the amount of transferred data by transmitting frame information of a particular object, combining a client screen with an avatar corresponding to the frame information, and displaying the combined image and protecting a user privacy even though a transferred image is exposed by hacking by not exposing the identity of the people in the image.
