Provided is a cooling nozzle covering device for protecting a cooling nozzle used in continuous casting (for secondary cooling) where melt (molten steel) at high temperatures is injected into a mold from a tundish, and continuously casted into a strip. The cooling nozzle covering device comprises: a cover body supplied to surround a part of the cooling nozzle supplied on the moving path of a strip; and an opening for spraying a coolant supplied to the cover body. According to the present invention, when a strip is drawn in a mold, expensive cooling nozzle components can be protected from discharged melt. Therefore, when a strip is continuously casted, costs can be reduced, and melt can be easily processed by inducing the melt to be cooled and solidified. |
