摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel application by recognizing saltiness enhancement effect of a berry of Rubus microphyllus L.f..SOLUTION: Drinking water including common salt is mixed with a berry or berry juice of Rubus microphyllus L.f., thereby drinking water of reduced-sodium can be obtained. A mixing amount of berries of Rubus microphyllus L.f. based on 100 pts.wt. of water is made 3.0-6.4 pts.wt. when using raw berries of Rubus microphyllus L.f. and is made 2.0-6.0 pts.wt. when using heat-processed berries of Rubus microphyllus L.f.. A sodium reduction amount is preferably at most 15% by a weight basis of common salt dissolving in drinking water. A berry of the Rubus microphyllus L.f. is also used as a food improving agent.
