PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform overdrive processing for suppressing afterimages with a simple configuration so as to reduce the speed of a clock, in performing display on a liquid crystal display panel.SOLUTION: An image data processing circuit includes a memory that stores input image data, and a correction processing unit that corrects the input image data. The memory stores image data limited to the specific number of colors or within a specific image range. The correction processing unit detects a difference in gradation between pixels of image data in the preceding frame and pixels of image data in the current frame, which are stored in the memory. The correction processing unit performs processing to replace the color of the corresponding pixel in the current frame with a color with specific gradation, when there is a predetermined gradation change in the comparison of the pixels. |
