PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce travel resistance of a moving handrail for use in a man conveyor.SOLUTION: A guide device 5 includes a long handrail guide 10, a clip guide 11, and a stopper 12. The clip guide 11 is attached to the handrail guide 10. The clip guide 11 faces an inside surface of a moving handrail 3, and guides outward-side traveling of the moving handrail 3. The stopper 12 is provided in the handrail guide 10, and an end surface of the stopper faces an end surface of the clip guide 11. Additionally, the stopper 12 comprises a low-friction material that has friction characteristics lower than the clip guide 11 and that is susceptible to wear. The low-friction material has a top surface protruded upward with respect to a top surface of the clip guide 11, and faces the inside surface of the moving handrail 3. |
