PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform supply device having a pair of rotary rollers for transporting a preform for a resin bottle in a basic posture with the preform body suspending downward by supporting the preform from below through the large diameter portion of the preform, which allows a preform in an abnormal posture to be discharged from a transporting mechanism with a simpler structure.SOLUTION: The preform supply device includes: detection means S2 and S3 for detecting a preform 1 (F3) in a tumbled posture, and prevention mechanisms A and 14 which prevents the preform 1 (F0) in a basic posture on the upstream side of the preform 1 (F3) in a tumbled posture from moving downstream for a predetermined time, in response to the detection of the preform 1 (F3) in a tumbled posture by the detection means S2 and S3. |
