PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eraser for a board, which does not have problems related to ink erasability or writability after erasure.SOLUTION: An erasing member is formed by an elastic body having a water holding property, and a blade made of an elastic body having higher rigidity than the erasing member projects by a prescribed amount from an erasing road surface of the erasing member and is disposed so as to extend along an erasing surface. Ink on a board surface can be reliably erased, as water is contained in the erasing member and the water exudes from the erasing surface when wiping off the board surface with the erasing member to enable water wiping of the board surface. In the erasing operation, the water is exuded from the erasing surface on a front side of the blade, the exuded water is dammed by the blade, the water dammed up by the blade can be returned to the erasing member, and because the board surface is drained by the blade, water due to the water wiping does not remain at an ink-erased portion on the board surface, thereby a marker pen can be used to start writing directly. |
