Heading A6S, [Also in Division E2] A toy in the form of one-piece clothes peg, moulded from thermoplastic material comprises a handle part 3 and at least three clamping arms 1, 2 depending therefrom, at least one of the arms being of undulating configuration as viewed in side elevation, the clamping arms comprising resiliently flexible first portions 1a, 2a adjacent the handle and defining a first channel 5, adjoining second portions 1b, 2b at substantially the middle of the arms defining a second channel 4 for receiving a clothes line, and terminal portions 1c, 2c together defining a splayed entrance channel for the clothes line the construction being such that the clothes line is prevented from moving from the second channel 4 into the first channel 5. As shown, the clamping arm is thicker than the arms 2 and intersects the outer arms 2 at a position 6 between the channels 4 and 5 and in the region of the portions 1c, 2c the arm 1 overlaps the arms 2. Ribs 1e, If, 2e, 2f on opposed surfaces of the arms 1, 2 define recesses in the channel 4 to accommodate different thicknesses of clothes line and articles supported therefrom. In another arrangement, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown) the arms overlap at the positions between the channels, and in Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown), the arms abut at that position.
