The present invention relates to a device module and a terminal for measuring a distance using short-range wireless communications, and a distance measuring method using the same. By calculating the intensity and response time of a radio wave using Bluetooth, the distance between the terminal and the device module can be measured. To do so, the device module for measuring a distance using short-range wireless communications includes: a receiving unit which receives a first wireless signal for distance measurement including a distance measurement requesting message from an external device through short-range communications; a control unit which calculates the intensity value of the first wireless signal for distance measurement; and a transmitting unit which transmits the intensity value of the first wireless signal for distance measurement and a second wireless signal for distance measurement in response to the distance measurement requesting message.
