PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound field supporting device in which unnatural localization feeling of the sound image of a speaker is eliminated, and complicated wiring to the speaker is not required.SOLUTION: A hearing position 100 is arranged in flush with the diaphragm of a flat speaker 13 (or in the vicinity thereof). An audio sound radiated from a sound source, i.e., a main speaker 51, is collected by means of a microphone 11 in a sound field supporting device 1, and outputted from the flat speaker 13 as a sound wave corresponding to a signal of indirect sound component generated by a DSP 12. There is substantially no sound arriving directly at the hearing position 100 from the flat speaker 13, and reflection sound from the wall surface or ceiling in a room arrives at the hearing position 100. Consequently, a user existing at the hearing position 100 does not feel localization of the flat speaker 13 itself, but mainly hears the indirect sound component reflected on the wall surface, and thereby such a sound field as the indirect sound component sounds entirely in a room can be provided. |
