PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of constantly preventing adhesion of toner to a lens surface of a density detection unit.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes a primary transfer belt 110, a density detection sensor 120, and a toner adsorption unit 130. The primary transfer belt 110 carries a toner patch 111 formed for image quality adjustment. The density detection sensor 120 is arranged opposite to the primary transfer belt 110, and optically detects the density of the toner patch 111. The toner adsorption unit 130 is arranged in the proximity of a lens surface 121 of the density detection sensor 120, and electrostatically adsorbs floating toner. |
