PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast reception device which can efficiently record and reproduce encrypted content data with little load.SOLUTION: An TS (Transport Stream) signal processing unit (14) divides a received broadcast wave into content data and an ECM (Entitlement Control Message). An ECM/EMM (Entitlement Management Message) processing unit (16) and a CAS (Conditional Access System) processing unit (24) decrypt the ECM. A recording processing unit (18) records the content data in an encrypted state in a recording medium (30). A secret information storage unit (28) stores a scramble key (Ks) included in the decrypted ECM and contract information including viewing conditions for the content data in association with the content data recorded in the recording medium (30).
