PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a gear for a gear shifter in which the gear for the gear shifter can be manufactured using a manufacturing apparatus which is loaded small during molding, and is compact and simple in structure, and in which the gear for the gear shifter which is less strained and has large strength can be obtained through fluidization of a metal structure while a deformation of the gear is not biased.SOLUTION: A primary molding 1X including an expanded large-diameter part 11X having a protrusion more on an outer peripheral side than a large-diameter part of a gear for a gear shifter and a small-diameter part 12 having an inversely tapered tooth form 12a is held between a mandrel 21 and a tilt stock 22 of a spinning device 2, and while a molding roller 23 is moved from the side of the tilt stock 22 toward the side of the mandrel 21 at a position on an outer peripheral side of the expanded large-diameter part 11X, the expanded large-diameter part 11X is press-molded, so that a rim 11a surrounding the small-diameter part 12 concentrically is formed by making metal corresponding to the protrusion flow to a space part B formed between the mandrel 21 and the expanded large-diameter part 11X of the primary molding 1X. |
