METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY PREPARING BIODEGRADABLE ALIPHATIC/AROMATIC POLYESTER COPOLYMER

Provided is a method for continuously preparing a biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer, comprising the steps of: performing a first esterification of an aliphatic dihydroxy compound and aliphatic dicarboxylic acid at or under 185°C; continuously performing a second esterification of a reaction product obtained from the previous step; obtaining a prepolymer by continuously performing a first polycondensation reaction of a reaction product obtained from the previous step; and continuously performing polycondensation of the prepolymer, wherein the aromatic carboxylic acid is added in the step of performing the first esterification or the second esterification to prepare the biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer. According to the method for continuously preparing the biodegradable aliphatic/aromatic polyester copolymer, the amount of usage of the aliphatic dihydroxy compound, which is a starting material, is reduced thereby reducing the manufacturing cost.
